This exhibition presents the work of contemporary artists who focus on issues of identity - as a woman, artist, mother, wife, daughter, friend - explooring their personal experiences. Their female identity does not represent a weakness; their work embraces it in socially significant ways. Sometimes the work directly reflects their own lives, at other times, the work projects a more positive outcome or hopeful viewpoint.
